Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- General office administrative duties including answering the phone, taking messages and customer/client liaison.
- Providing support to our design teams, site managers and contract partners by being a key point of contact throughout the investigation, design and construction of a scheme.
- Monitoring both current and future costs, preparing payments and internal cost reports and identifying and recording any changes
- Preparing and checking cost estimates and creating requisitions
- Managing relationships with a range of different parties to ensure deadlines are met.
Our apprenticeships are delivered in close partnership with the Learning Skills Partnership.
We recognise that after finishing GCSEs or A-levels that many young people are eager to start working rather than moving on to study full-time at university.
We currently employ a number of people working towards apprenticeships, higher apprenticeships, further and higher education qualifications alongside their day jobs, all fully supported by JN Bentley. Working whilst studying part-time means you gain practical experience that complements academic and professional development.
There are always many different opportunities available across our different roles. No matter what level you are at when you join us, we will provide you with full training and opportunities for development.
