In 2014, Mott MacDonald acquired Bentley Holdings Ltd (including subsidiary company JN Bentley Ltd).
The move was a natural progression in the highly successful partnership between the companies through MMB.
Integrated delivery
By embracing all elements of programme management, investigation and construction in one organisation, MMB provides an integrated, efficient service to all its clients.
A significant and growing proportion of JN Bentley’s work, particularly in the water sector, is delivered through MMB.
Client focus
The partnership was formed specifically to deliver long-term, high volume programmes of projects for the UK’s water companies throughout the industry’s rolling five-year Asset Management Plan (AMP). We appreciate that a strategic focus, effective communication and flexibility in different models of working are important to support a trusted relationship with our clients.
Collaboration
Collaboration is therefore central to the way MMB operates, with a constant exchange of ideas and information between all members of the team throughout any project. This close level of integration, not only between our design, contract management and site teams, but also with our client partners, subcontractors and other contract partners, is core to MMB’s success.
Since initial contracts for AMP3, MMB has grown substantially through AMPs 4 and 5, leading to new and extended appointments as AMP6 delivery partner for Yorkshire Water, Severn Trent Water, Anglian Water, Northumbrian Water Group, United Utilities and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water.
