Third cohort completes Mott MacDonald Bentley graduate and apprentice programme

A third cohort of apprentices and graduates have successfully completed Mott MacDonald Bentley’s (MMB) graduate and apprentice programme.

Over 130 apprentices and graduates came together to celebrate completing the programme, marking the end of a year-long development journey designed to enhance both personal and professional skills.

Two events, held in Leeds and Birmingham, saw colleagues take part in a series of team-based activities and celebrations, reflecting on the skills they have developed throughout the programme.

Having successfully completed the scheme, delegates are now equipped with the tools they need to continue progressing their careers at MMB.

About the programme

The graduate and apprentice programme provides new starters with a structured framework for their development. Tailored specifically for MMB and delivered in partnership with Futureproof Training, the programme is designed to develop the personal and professional skills needed to support successful careers within the business.

Delegates begin their journey with a launch event, bringing together apprentices and graduates from across the business to build connections, meet new colleagues and gain a greater understanding of MMB. Throughout the year, they complete a series of modules focused on teamwork and developing key workplace skills, including effective communication, personal effectiveness and presenting with confidence. Alongside practical learning activities, participants have opportunities to build networks across the business, learn from senior leaders and experienced colleagues, and develop the confidence needed to thrive in their careers.

The programme culminates in a celebration event, where delegates come together to reflect on their achievements, recognise the skills they have developed and celebrate the successful completion of their development journey. The programme also supports participants on their journey towards professional development and chartership, with experienced colleagues providing guidance and encouragement along the way.
