Our supply chain principles

Procurement with purpose drives our approach within our own supply chain. We aim to prioritise and understand what our customers and stakeholders are looking for before deciding where we can add the most value. Procurement with a purpose also covers our proactive view on sustainable procurement. As procurement professionals, we have a responsibility to positively impact the regions we are working in, with the topic of sustainability expanding to account for environmental, social and economic factors.

We're proud that 70% of our annual spend on materials, plant hire and subcontract service is with small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We endeavour to source 75% of our materials within the immediate vicinity of our projects, thereby supporting the communities in which we are working.

We are an organisation that delivers low carbon infrastructure and is fully committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, both for the business and our clients.

We value engineer to ensure we are constantly challenging ourselves to delivery innovatively. We tackle procurement and design solutions with an open mind to create added value. As part of this, we work collaboratively across teams and with our key suppliers to explore new innovations as a collective.

We also capture and present the social outcomes that we are delivering at both a project and company level.
